解明岐（1987- ），博士，师从著名哺乳动物合成生物学大师Martin Fussenegger教授。解明岐博士成长于德国，在海外完成其所有学业，精通德、中、英、法等多国语言，并于2017年在瑞士苏黎世联邦理工大学（ETH Zürich）获得博士学位。解明岐博士长期从事合成生物学和代谢疾病治疗相关领域研究，主要涉及基因调控、细胞工程和细胞治疗等多个研究方向，并作为项目负责人或科研骨干主持/参与多个欧盟科研课题。解明岐博士于2019年8月全职加入了西湖大学生命科学学院，担任研究员、助理教授（独立PI）一职，成立生物系统工程实验室，将继续从事合成生物学和细胞治疗相关研究。自2022年2月起，任西湖大学工学院生物医学工程领域兼聘教授。
Dr. Mingqi Xie completed his entire higher education at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and Basel (ETH Zurich, Switzerland). In 2017, Mingqi received his doctoral degree in biotechnology and bioengineering. His research focuses on the design of novel medically-relevant cell functions using synthetic biology-inspired engineering principles.

Ting comes from a northwestern city -Yinchuan, Ningxia Province. She received her PhD in Basic Medical Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2020 and completed her postdoctoral studies at MingLab in 2022. Experienced in neuroscience, her current research focuses on novel gene regulation strategies based on synthetic exocytosis and development of next-generation gene- and cell-based therapies for chronic pain treatment.

Dr. Jiawei Shao comes from Zhejiang, joined MingLab as our indispensable team leader right after receiving his PhD in the lab of Haifeng Ye at East China Normal University in 2019, and became PI of Zhejiang University in 2021. He is full of power and commitment, is good at logic thinking and knows everything about synthetic biology.

Lihang comes from Anhui, graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2019, has already joined MingLab from 2019 to 2021 and returned as a visiting scholar in 2022. Mirta is from Zurich, Switzerland, where she completed her Master’s degree and worked in R&D for a few years. Following her genuine interest for the Chinese culture, she decided to join MingLab in Sep 2019 and became the first international PhD student of Westlake University. She is experienced in surface modification, molecular diagnostics and nanotechnology.
